President & CEO
Hal Kent's medical device background in management roles with Boston Scientific and as a management consultant for Guidant is very pertinent to contributing to the MEDCONX mission to become a leading interconnection systems company.
Hal has extensive connector industry experience with Raychem, MetCal, and BetaPhase. He also has specific expertise in electrical interconnection systems, Medical Product Quality Systems, Regulatory Compliance and Technical Marketing & Sales. He also has significant cross-disciplinary business experience in Research & Development, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and completed Graduate work in Mechanical Engineering. He is also the holder of a number of connector and medical device patents. His patents have contributed to the IP portfolios of companies like AMP, Molex, Raychem, BetaPhase, MetCal, and MEDCONX.
Chief Financial Officer
Bill Deihl has 25 years of experience in financial and operations management with Fortune 500 companies and early stage start-ups. Bill has contributed to the success of a broad collection of companies including holding the position of CFO in two publicly traded companies with worldwide operations. He has also acted as General Manager and COO for several privately held manufacturing enterprises. In his consulting practice, his clients have also included a telecommunications equipment supplier, a long distance service provider, a computer manufacturer, a food processor, a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer, a OEM software developer, a fiber optic cable developer and manufacturer, a wireless technology start-up, a direct marketer, a virtual reality hardware supplier, a semi-conductor assembly house, several start-up organizations, and as the initial operating executive for hostile takeover targets.
Prior to Medconx, Bill was founding CFO and Vice President, Finance and Administration for Hello Direct, a direct marketer of telephony accessories and was Vice President, Finance for Falco Data Products, a PC and computer terminal manufacturer. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his MBA from Santa Clara University in marketing and investments and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California School of Business.
